Blood Drip Cupcakes

Hey guys,
here is a Halloween recipe if you're having a party, or just want to cook with your friends! I wouldn't suggest giving this out to trick or treaters, they never trust home made stuff out of wrappers (which they shouldn't) and it would be a waste. Here ya go!

Ingredients for the cupcakes

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour

• 1/2 c. Unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/4 c. malt powder
• 1 3/4 c. sugar
• 1 tsp. instant coffee
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. salt
• 2 large eggs
• 1 c. buttermilk
• 2/3 c. unsalted butter, melted
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
• 2 c. Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients for the glass candy

• 1/2 c. light corn syrup
• 3 c. sugar
• 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
• 1 1/2 c. water
• Red food coloring gel, for garnish

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Fill cupcake pan with liners; set aside.
2. Make cupcakes: In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, mix together first eight ingredients. Add in next four ingredients and beat on medium until well combined, about 2 minutes. Pour in 3/4 cup boiling water and beat until well combined. Fill liners 2/3 of the way. Bake until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 18 to 22 minutes. Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting.
3. Make glass candy: Line a baking sheet with foil. Place all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-high heat and stir until mixture begins to boil. Stop boiling and clip candy thermometer to side of pan. Use a brush and water to wash down any crystals. Bring mixture to 300 degrees F, then pour hot candy mixture onto prepared pan. Set aside at least 1 hour, then break apart candy into shards.
4. Assemble: Pipe frosting onto cupcakes. Insert candy glass into center. Pipe red gel onto cupcakes for a blood drip finish.

Cyberbully - The movie

So I have just started watching it and this girl named Taylor has gone to secondary school as normal, but it's her birthday.

Now she's at home and her mum just gave her a laptop as a birthday present as long as she doesn't do anything inappropriate on it.
Taylor is making a profile on a social media site and her friends are helping her and she is saying stuff about her underwear and stuff like that.
In order to be a member on this site you have to fill in very personal questions and she just added her crush as a friend on this site.
Her friend is getting quite upset since her dad is always working.
At school her crush has said for them to go on a chatroom that only people from the school get to go on.
Thy're talking about sex and stuff....ew??
Next day at school her and her friends are walking around and some girls look at them all weird
she meets her crush again and he's complimenting her on her writing and saying she should upload bikini shots of her and stuff
In the car home from school her friends are saying she shouldnt do it but taylor doesnt know what to do
she had got a friend request from someone named james, apparently he is seventeen...

For this one you will need a jar, some gold     For this one put three Easter eggs in     For this one literally just hard 
glitter, fake eyes and little fake chick feet.       a basket. Then get lots of different        boil some eggs and then paint 
Also you will need some glue. Get the jar       decorated paper and fold them on top     them simple!
and cover it in glue, then put the gold             of each other until they create a circle

Suicidal thoughts

Hey loves,
So today is abit of a darker topic so if you would like to skip this blog post I would totally understand.
Many people have suicidal thoughts, and it can be a major issue if people aren't helped immediately.
I know it's hard when you are getting bullied and your parents are 'sooo strict' and life just seems horrible, but that doesn't mean you should kill yourself. I will be giving you loves some help on how to help yourself from suicidal thoughts and also how to help someone else in that situation, and i really hope it helps.

How to help yourself
•Promise yourself that for one day at a time, you won't do ANYTHING to harm yourself. Say to yourself 'just one more day, you're doing soooo well'.
•Keep anything that you could hurt yourself with eg. knives, razors, sharp objects etc. AWAYYYY.
•Try to tell people how you feel, whether it's your parents, teachers, friends, or anyone, just try to tell someone.
•Think of all the good things in life. Ok ok, right now you may think there is nothing left but trust me there is. Like your family, friends, and think of nature and how beautiful the world is... it's amazing!
•Make times for things you love. For example if you really love dance, each day get up and dance dance dance!

How to help someone else
•Understand the warning signs of a suicidal person;  click here
•Talk to them about it and show them just how loved they are.
•Don't leave them by themselves alot, this will encourage them to kill themselves.

Here are some further symptoms...

• Change in eating and sleeping habits
• Withdrawal from friends, family, and regular activities
• Violent or rebellious behavior, running away
• Drug and alcohol use
• Unusual neglect of personal appearance
• Persistent boredom, difficulty concentrating, or a decline in the quality of schoolwork
• Frequent complaints about physical symptoms, often related to emotions, such as stomachaches, headaches, fatigue, etc.
• Not tolerating praise or rewards

Hopefully this helped you loves, whether you are suicidal or know someone who is suicidal. If you hear someone say they want to kill themselves, don't let it pass. Speak to them right away and if you do fear they will kill themselves and you know there isn't much you can do (for example if you are their friend you can't follow them home and stay over their house all the time) tell someone about it right away. Also, let them know about childline, where they can talk about anything they want with professionals who can help them. Here is the childline webiste; click here You can also call them, in which case here is their number; 0800 1111
They make it very clear on their website you can call at anytime for free, and tell you about lots of other things, so definitely go check it out

1. Use white eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger, and black eyeliner to make your eyes look smaller.
